發展多樣化、跨領域整合的長期照護體系以因應急速增加的老年族群照護需求是已開發國家的普遍目標。本課程經由授課與討論來探討國際長期照護體系的經驗，進而探討台灣目前與未來長期照護體系的發展。本課程期望透過國際不同類型的長期照護服務體系介紹與優缺利弊的探討，培養學生對國內長照現況與問題的瞭解與對未來台灣長期照護體系與產業發展的空間想像，進而拓展學生對台灣長期照護體系發展的視野與經營管理的能力。課程分為兩大部分:
Part I: 介紹國際不同長期照護服務體系並討論優缺點
Part II: 介紹國內長期照護體系目前與未來發展
Developing diverse and integrated long-term care services to meet care demands for the rapidly increasing older population is a common goal for many developed countries in the world. This course will explore experiences of long-term care in Western countries and then apply the lessons learned to current long-term care service development in Taiwan. Students will be introduced to available knowledge in the field of long-term care service development, effective problem-solving attitudes, and techniques for organizing information and/or developing management strategies in the field. This course included two parts:
Part I: Introduction and discussion of international experiences with long-term care services
Part II: Introduction and discussion of Taiwan’s current and future development of long-term care services
